Hello brothers and sisters,
We will like to share to you the reception center’s vision for the street’s kids of Kinshasa. We want to build a house who will be able to welcome those kids, protect them and get them out of the street. They are at the mercy of the elements (torrential rain, cold, storms, …) and they sleep outside in the street. They are often victims of violence and rape.
The first step for a good social reintegration, it’s to protect them by hosting them in a safe place. That’s why we want to call this house: In the hand of the Father.
To complete this project, we want to buy a terrain near the Nsele of 40 x 20 m and build a house and a carpentry workshop. The workshop will give Hénoc, one of the kids that has already been able to go back home and is now a carpenter, the opportunity to train some of the kids to this craftsmanship.
We have calculated that we will need 50 000 dollars to buy and build the center and the workshop.
Some years ago, I have personally see in a dream a child telling me: “I prefer to stay inside”. I then understood that this child needed a roof in order to be able to live his childhood and grow up correctly.
